NEW POLICY: From this day forward when we are dealing with International Travel, we will require to see your Passport before any travel can be booked. While it is not our responsibility to make sure that you have one, or most of all that it is up-to-date, we just do not want to see any of our clients lose their hard earned money or get hit with unexpected fees that can run into the thousands upon your re-entry into the United States when your passport is not up-to-date.
NOTE TO ALL TRAVELERS: Please make sure that you are aware of the expiration month and year of your Passport before planning your International travel. It is easy to not think about it because it has a 10 year good standing. But it really doesn’t have an entire 10 years. Please be advised that upon re-entry into the United States you must have at least 3 months remaining on your Passport before it expires and, in some cases 6 months. That means you should renew your passport no later than 7 months prior to its expiration date. It generally takes 6 weeks to be renewed, mine took 10 weeks. Authorities will let you leave the country with an “expiring” Passport however; upon re-entry Customs will retain you for hours and charge you fines that can amount into thousands of dollars. It is your responsibility to maintain an up-to-date Passport if you want to be a world traveler.
