Yo Ho Ho!
It is now 30-days and counting ‘til embarkation in Miami, FL! Flights have been booked and the only thing left is to get round-trip transfers from Miami airport to the Port of Miami. Still working on that. If you don’t have your suitcase laying opened and ready for packing, you are not ready!!! Lol Now is the time to put your PASSPORT and your 8-days of prescribed medications with your suitcase so that you don’t forget these very important items on the day of travel. And while you are at it start putting your empty water bottle, Tylenol, pain reliever rub, dramamine, allergy meds, hand sanitizer and refills (this runs out quick on travel - my DR trip taught me that), extra face masks, batteries, charging cords and whatever else you don’t want to have to spend money on if you need them.
As far as those of us who will be flying out of Reagan National there is a $30 per person parking fee (already paid for and reserved) for 8-days of parking at the airport. Please cash app me asap.
Additionally, there are a couple group/themed events for us to participate in and I want to share them here. None are mandatory but these fun events make for a nice time for a group of travelers:
THE DAY OF BOARDING – Y’all know there is a tee shirt for every occasion. I will be mailing your tees out very soon to wear the day of boarding. A nice little souvenir/gift to remember our voyage. TRAVEL TEE SHIRT DAY!! Check it out.

THE NIGHT OF BOARDING – There will be a PJ PARTY! This is a heads-up so that you can prepare in case you would like to participate.
THURSDAY AT SEA – SCARLET NIGHT, this is the night that everyone on the ship wears the color scarlet red, includes different activities throughout the evening. Dress it up or dress down, it’s on you. There is no dress code for VV. Don’t forget to pack that SCARLET RED SUIT! ;) Come as you like.
FRIDAY NIGHT AT SEA – ALL WHITE NIGHT for our group. We have a RESERVATION AT THE WAKE eatery at 6:00 p.m. sharp, so come as sharp as you want in your ALL WHITE and let’s make this our group photo shoot night as well. Y’all know I gotta have an ALL WHITE PARTY!!!
SATURDAY AT THE BEACH CLUB AT BIMINI – This is a full day on this Bahamian Island. I would like for us as a group to rent a golf cart and explore the island, the people, the street food, and another beach outside of the Beach Club together. (NOT REQUIRED, JUST A SUGGESTION). It’s a full day so there will be plenty of time to check out the Beach Club as well. There will be a Bimini Bonfire Celebration at 4:30.
And last but not least, two more items I would like to cover. One, for those of us who have a BAR TAB please be advised that this is a non-refundable amenity, so do drink up and shake that app to have a bottle of champagne delivered where ever you are on the ship or at the BEACH CLUB BIMINI if you need to use up your funds, or just because you want champagne!! Second, you will receive your BAND (the bracelet) once we check-in at the Port of Miami, Virgin Voyages' terminal V. Once you are on board you will be able to log on to the app to activate the band. The band will serve as the key to your cabin, wallet, and bar tab all in one for a hands-free, wallet-free, and worry-free voyage as well as a personal GPS for the app's SHAKE FOR CHAMPAGNE feature.
